Ktar – According to blogger Brian Stetler of the NY Times, the network wants to beef up the number of gay roles in its primetime lineup. “The Good Wife,” “Rules of Engagement” and the new William Shatner sitcom “$#*! My Dad Says” will all get a gay character.
This all, after GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, gave CBS a “failing” grade.
According to GLAAD’s Network Responsibility Index of 2009-2010:
For the first time since GLAAD began this report, all of the five major broadcast networks posted an increase in LGBT-inclusive prime time programming hours. However, CBS continues to lag behind its competitors, once again earning a “Failing” grade.
Wait a minute here, this can’t be right. I thought CBS has been very accepting of gay people. They air one of the gayest men on the planet every Sunday during football season…
