Ecstasy to become legal?

Did you bring the ecstasy?

"Did you bring the ecstasy?"

An article in Monday’s editions of The Sun on a study of the potential therapeutic benefits of the illegal drug Ecstasy cited the views of Harvard psychiatrist John Halpern. Dr. Halpern says he is a proponent of research into the drug’s medicinal properties but does not favor its widespread use in psychiatry. The government-authorized study in Charleston, S.C. is trying to determine whether Ecstasy can help trauma victims heal their emotional wounds.

So basically, if they can prove it has medical benefits, ecstasy may become a prescription drug.  I can see it now: “Doctor, when I go to the discoteque, its just not fun anymore, mostly cuz techno is boring.  Got anything for me?”

A shame you didn't bother to learn anything about this before blogging. The MDMA is given in the context of psychotherapy.
