busstopscale
Our good friend Eric recently brought this to our attention. A new series of advertisements promoting Fitness First, a gym chain in the Netherlands, features a working scale that broadcasts a prospective traveler’s weight for all passers-by to see. I, for one, think this is awesome.

We need to see some of these in America. I’ve always wanted areason to feel guilty about riding a bus for 3 blocks instead of walking. All they need is to program in some fun read-outs. I suggest “Get off me I can’t breathe!” or “Maybe the bus should be riding YOU” or even “This bus doesn’t go to Denny’s. Sorry.”
